The Bridport Peace and Justice Group Council Tax You may have been reassured by the thud of your council tax demand. I personally was not. Whilst I am all on for doing stuff like educating children, looking after old people and preserving the habitat of fluffy bunnies, I am less keen on having West Dorset District Council investing in death. My council tax is invested via Dorset County Pension Fund in arms manufacturers. I sent them an Angry of Bridport letter which they returned. I may be beating my head against a wall, but it is possible that the result, if enough people do it, will be a broken wall as opposed to many headaches.
