Film: Aristide and the Endless Revolution
An
hour south of Miami is the Western Hemisphere's poorest nation.
In 2004, the democratically elected president Jean-Bertrand Aristide
was taken against his will from Haiti in an American helicopter.
Having been deposed once with CIA backing in 1991, the 2004 coup
d'etat was not the first American intervention into Haitian politics,
nor will it likely be the last.
Featuring exclusive interviews with Aristide, commentary from a
wide range of supporters and critics, and searing glimpses inside
strife-torn Haiti, this award-winning documentary exposes the tangled
web of hope, deceit, and political violence that has brought the
world's first black republic to its knees.

Entry/donation
for the above events
Entry
to all BPJG events is by an entirely voluntary donation, we cannot
stress this sufficiently, we would prefer to see you than money
to be a barrier to your coming along..............................................
We have a dual intention of raising consciousness, and raising money
for various causes, so if you cannot help us with the latter, at
least let us do the former to you................................
However £5.00 is suggested for the waged and the independently
wealthy (oil magnates & arms manufacturers £5000.00).....................................
You can also pay by giving us 6 Nets if you are a member of West
Dorset Local Exchange Trading Scheme. We like Nets.
Are
you coming?
We seldom
know who is going to come, we very much doubt that we are going
to sell out, in either sense of the word, but we would lurve it
if you could let us know if you are coming so that we can ensure
that we have enough tea biscuits etc.
